About the studio
Lion and Lamb Studio has been in games since 2010 and was founded in 2016, building casual games and educational software for over a decade before turning to narrative work.
The studio takes its name from the two things it wants in the same game: a lion's nerve and a lamb's gentleness. BREAKTHROUGH is its first title written that way — overwhelming arcade action carrying a story about pride, and what it costs.
Key features
Arcade impact, reimagined
The tactile satisfaction of classic block-breakers, rebuilt around a colossal Drill Rocket that pushes upward against everything falling toward it.
Pattern-driven, not reflex-driven
Meteor Bombs arrive in readable formations. Every screen is a puzzle you learn to read, so progress comes from understanding rather than raw speed.
A steampunk world with a story
Four chapters of hand-illustrated vector art, each with its own bosses, terrain, and characters drawn from the world of Breakthrough.
